No doubt, still don't have the mentality to win at OT

In the first half I just couldn't understand Arsenal's tactics. Their game is far more based upon short sharp passing yet the majority of their passes (even the successful ones were 12-25 yards! In the second the majority of their passes wre back to the more usual 10-15 yards max.

Great results for us today if we seriously consider ourselves in the mix.

    Arsenal were mentally poor today.

    No rub of the green for Swansea this week either;

Laudrup: "I have to be careful. We can't talk about them. We all make mistakes but I can admit I made a mistake and the referee can't. It is like they don't exist, they can't speak. I have to be careful what I say or else I get fined another £1,000."

    Haha yes...what a good football judge <applause>

Winning points against the league leaders when not playing well is indeed relegation form...<laugh> Squeaky bum time ?

In regards United, you have to say well done as they did win.

But, it was like watching an away game. United were so unbelievably defensive and worked on the counter which didn't particularly work.

Moyes set his stool out to sneak a win which is bizarre at home.

Was not like watching United. It was...Everton.

Haha It's not really title winning form either though is it? The didn't play well and you could still have lost the win. You were at home and couldn't even manage a true counter-attack in the 2nd half. So I suppose you have just about improved from relegation form.

I was actually saying that very thing on the manc match day thread. It seems a mental thing even though the players differ over the years, so is it Wenger infecting the players?

Carzola Ozil Ramsey were all poor today by their standards. The movement was not there, the passing was poor, the attacks were moved forward at a snail's pace. It all looked very laboured today

That utd arsenal game was atrocious. Arsenal don't seem that impressive to me still. Beating Dortmund and they are suddenly world beaters, think they forgot they got beaten by that team couple weeks before. The style they beat them though was very much chelski style, defend at all costs and fluke a win. They don't seem to create many chances, against us, then Dortmund and again at Utd. I can't see them lasting. Still city and chelsea for the title imo. I'll happily take a 3rd or 4th in behind them.

That's pretty much exactly what Dortmund did to us in the first game though, that's how you play away to good teams

Fair enough. And don't get me wrong, I still see you being up there, probably above us, top 3 as an aim though imo.

If we buy a couple of players in January I don't see why we can't just go for it.

People are assuming either City or Chelsea will win.

They're probably correct but City keep losing games and Chelsea aren't infallible.

Spurs will come good next season but this year is transitional for them. United will be there but I struggle seeing Moyes win the League.

Arsenal do look very good, but I think need another striker.

    Its there for somebody.

Not having a dig at united, and Remembrance Sunday is very solemn, but there was something unutterably comical about watching the minute's silence with 'Fred the Red' mascot stood in the centre circle with the players, his hands clasped behind his back, his head bowed, but the corporate, child-friendly 'devil' grin still beaming from his face.

I thought of my uncle who died with Bomber Command over Germany, and my great grandfather who lost an eye at Jutland at that moment - and laughed like a ****ing drain. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
