I agree he did NOT live a choir boy lifestyle, I also wonder whether wages had anything to do with it.
Because it makes the rest of us look bad if we don't. The majority of us are realists, it's why we're respected as fans, but people like TT give us as fans a bad reputation for being deluded. it only takes one to change someone's perception of a team's fanbase.
Its funny. I had a quick read through this thread at half time and the comments were generally praising Uniteds performance. first to every ball, more determined, the better side. At full time its 'United were **** but we were ****ter' Funny eh?
since 2004 our team has just not been good enough , some of the players we have had to put up with have made us pull our hair out . Its got nothing to do with " bottling " anything . We dont all spend half a billion quid on a squad , easy to win stuff when you have bought and paid for it .
I don't think you bettered us at all, sorry, we were piss poor. In the first half we did not show up, it wasn't that you were so good. We weren't pressuring you, running, and we were giving rubbish passes. So cool your horns my friend, you were not great, we were just clueless. Oh well, still top of the league.
i dont think united played sh1t at all . Some people are so sorely pi$$ed that you have to cut them some slack . United played well today , challenged and WON 85 per cent of all the challenges. Never gave us any time on the ball and TOOK their chance to score . If thats sh1t , WE should play so sh1t . and thats from a lifelong dedicated ABU so i got no reason for false praise. but that doesnt mean i dont hope Van Judas's tits fall off .
Vidic went off and Jones ( a major part of us being far better in the first half ) dropped back. our pressing dropped off and we went deeper. However we still had the chance and did more with the ball in the second half despite what we lost in jones dropping into defence. And to say fergies United would never have done that....... it was his speciality in the last few years.
aside from playing spurs and Liverpool at home you had an easy ride facing bottom 10 clubs in the league, I think you are getting cocky when the real run didn't even started yet for you guys
Not that easy. It took City £600m and four seasons before they won the league. I disagree. With a stronger mentality Arsenal would have won trophies. For example: In 07/8 you had a great team and imploded when the pressure was on.
Oh here we go with that rubbish argument of 'easy' ride, you just beat Stoke and Fulham before us, and you are thinking your back, so it's good for you to beat bottom sides, but not for us? You beat what's in front of you, and so far this season, we have done that better than anyone else. It doesn't matter who you play, or which position they're in, you play to get the 3 points. Swansea away is not easy, Sunderland away can be tricky as City have found out today, beating Palace with 10 men is not easy.
four seasons is nothing in football . The blink of an eye. If city got a decent manager instead of a succession of bellends we would ALL be screwed .
exactly. We were never ever going to out play Arsenal. We dont try. How we beat you and have done for a long while is to stop you playing your game. Had we tried to out play you today ( as some are suggesting we should have ), we would have been hammered. If anything we played exactly the same way against you we have done for years. Fletcher or Park used to be the main asset but today it was Jones and Rooney.
