Radio Humberside’s phone in after last week’s victory provided a window into this

Danny Graham puts himself about, so does Aaron McLean, sadly it doesn't mean that either are good enough for this division

Not for one millisecond do I think that the same people that disliked Brown - his incredibly oversized ego, his pathetic naughty step, his equally pathetic 'look at me' HT tantrum, his ****ing hideous pink jumpers, his 'Phil Brown player/team' comments, his luck in securing Fraizer Campbell when he did, or Geovanni in the way in which he did - would dislike the enigma that is Steve Bruce, who has proved on many occasions that he has what it takes to manage a football club, and with something that Phyliss Brown will never have...humility!

Well you're mistaken then.

They'll be the same FIFA Manager, 'my mates support other clubs' types who are the most susceptible to wobbling of this ilk.

Usually I don't reply to ****s, but in your case, and as you predictably totally missed my point, I'll make an exception. Now kindly **** off until you begin to post something sensible, as opposed to something that attempts, but sadly fails, at being controversial <ok>

We were 3-0 down at half-time. What was Bruce thinking letting the players leave the pitch at half-time? :emoticon-0145-shake

If you can't take a contrary opinion without pottymouth histrionics, a forum is not the place for you.

We where beaten by the better team on the day as I think our defence had a serious day off and should of done better. Southampton where no better than Spurs,Everton, Chelsea or Man City and we managed to hold it together against them. Southampton are a unknown team a bit like we where during our first season in the PL last time and once someone gets a grip of their way of playing they will start to drop points and lose matches just the same as we did in our first season with the big boys. BTW before some of you smart arses tell me Southampton are not in their first season in the PL I of course refer to their new manager and his style of play. If Bruce did make a mistake it was bringing on Graham and not Gedo as I thought he would of caused the Southampton defence more problems.

Not great results for us today with Sunderland, Newcastle, Stoke all winning games they might have been expected to lose.

Th Premier League is split into a top ten and a bottom ten.

We're near the top of the bottom ten but the top ten (or so) will steadily pull away.

(The 2 MCR clubs, the Merseyside , the 3 London clubs, Soton, WBA and maybe Newcastle.)

The bottom ten is a lot tighter and even.

Palace is another must win I'm afraid.

Thank you & well done on your fully deserved victory yesterday.

To be constructive in what is only a minor criticism, although you have typed your comments in English the actual standard of your written English is very poor. It may be of benefit to yourself if you, in the first instance, concentrated on your grammar which at the moment really is appalling.

Well done again & I hope you now press on in the manner which you have started causing even more upsets along the way.

Is this your version of English? As I could do with a translation.

For your assistance, this is what arrogance means.

having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one's own importance or abilities.
"he's arrogant and opinionated"
synonyms: haughty, conceited, hubristic, self-important, opinionated, egotistic, full of oneself, superior;

Describes perfectly. Now **** off you thick twat.

Sometimes its takes a loss a defeat like this to put things in perspective for the management, players and fans alike that near misses like the Tottenham and Everton defeats do not afford (it was the refs fault we did not get the breaks we needed). It acts as a catalyst and as a springboard for first reflection and introspection and then planning for improvements in the future; this can cover the whole playing field:tactics, training, scouting and down the line reinforcements when the transfer window opens. Its somewhat like the stock market it can keep going up and up but sooner or later its going to come crashing down to earth and its at that point that a good management team seizes the opportunity and invests for the future. SB will I am sure at the moment be in his period of reflection and introspection and on Monday along with Agnew will be looking at the tapes ready to move onto the training ground etc. After near misses its about what could have been if only etc , but, after a heavy defeat there is only opportunity and improvement in front of you.
