Wasn't he the one who got Watford's goal in the Play-off semi at the KC? Thought he was one of their better players that night. Three years ago.

He was very good the season we went up, he used to play for Watford and I believe he scored past us when we beat the 4-1 in the play off semi final? may be wrong.

He went to Sheff United where its been injury hit, and since then hasn't done a lot. Possible cheap signing?

He was suspended for the first play-off game and did indeed score in the second.

He's a fairly big and strong striker, 6' 1" and scored about 1 in 3 for both Watford and Sheff United(49 in 177). He cost United £2m + add-on's, but has only one year to run on a four year deal and wants out now they've been relegated.

Well, I'd much rather him up front than Dele Adebola, put it that way.

I often likened him to Helgusson; not the tallest centre forward and not the beefiest, but HARD as Nails.
No defender will come up against him and not know he's been in a game.

Yeah, I like the sound of this when you consider what he will do for Matty.

Sorry, can't get too excited today what with the Danns thing!!!

Even looking at that article comments, sheffield initeds fans don't rate him too highly. Looked good a few years ago though.

I'd take him, he's a quality front man at this level. He seems to have suffered from injury a lot in the past few years and his temperament is questionable. His ability isn't.

I wonder where the Sheffield Star got this from, he hasn't been mentioned anywhere before and we haven't approached the Blades, so either they're psychic, or they're just a bit short of news today.

It says "representatives of the East Yorkshire club are understood to have expressed an interest in luring him to the KC Stadium". Lord knows what that means but I'd imagine it must represent a tentative enquiry. Article mentions Frank Barlow, did we employ him at some point?

    It's precisely because of that wording that I think it's a non-story.

It might as well say, nobody at Hull has contacted the Blades, but they're probably thinking about it, we heard one of the blokes in the office was watching a YouTube clip of Henderson and they need a big striker, so we're pretty sure they're interested.

I wouldn't say no to Henderson - 7 years younger than Adebola, remember him for Watford - he had the long blong locks then, the Jimmy look but harder..
