I could have let Smuginantibes carry out his threat, then he'd probably have got a full network ban.

Got to be honest your a mod. You changed a thread title in a way which was derogatory to another poster.
Stinks of cowardice to me and to try to pass it off like you were helping Smug not get a ban...BOLLOCKS.

 

I've said many times, being a mod doesn't bring any authority. If anything it's a nuisance because some idiots reply to me as a mod, not as simply a poster (which is all I am, especially on other boards).

The issue belongs to those that think it matters.

 

Calling a self confessed geordie a geordie isn't really derogatory. DOing it to stop them carrying out a childish threat is actually to their (and your) benefit.

You need to realign your anger at the poster that has a history of setting out to cause dispute.

 

We all know what you were doing when you implied Smug described himself as "A Southern Geordie" You were in fact out to cause dispute were you not!
I aint angry but I've lost a little faith in this site. If Mods like you and this PLT (is he Hull too?) can change and repost threads willy nilly without a care, it kind of spoils it for me.

That's somewhat contradictory to some of your other replies, but hey ho. Perhaps if you stopped him posting daft comments in order to attract people here, you'd limit the times people point out he's a prick. None of ours would get away with consistent nonsense.

If you don't want me here, you could simply stop threads that are simply for mindless abuse to attract visitors, as this thread does. It's simply asking to be locked, and would locked for the ****wittery it is by mods on most other boards.

 

Why the **** should the thread be locked? To stop you from embarassing yourself over and over again? Easy solution - **** off back to your own boards and stay there!

 

If people post lies and half truths, you can expect it to be challenged. That's a basic principle of discussion forums. If you don't want me here, people should either stop posting such nonsense, or if they can't the other option is to lock the thread. Simply 'not liking' what I say isn't justification for a ban.

Given the unwarranted abuse and twists from some on here, I think I've been very polite.

I understand you'll defend your own against outsiders, but if it was posters on our board behaving as some on here had and attracting threads such as these, words would be had with them for disrupting the board.

PLUS, being a mod is academic. I'm not a mod on here.

 

Manipulating threads and reposting them under someone else's name is though.

Nobody reposted it under a different name. Again, tweaking the subject header, without affecting the content was done to stop smug carrying out his childish threat to flood the network. In that respect it worked. The alternative was a ban, which wouldn't have kicked in in time, by which point it would probably have been a network ban.

 

But you lot have been doing that on our board for weeks, and countless people on a number of occasions have had words yet you won't **** off. Doesn't matter what board it's on they're your responsibility, have a ****ing word you hypocrite, then have a word with yourself.

And for the record i popped over to your board for banter before our game and was met with abuse left right and center, I've also been met with it on my own board so practice what you preach.

Get a ****ing backbone and some integrity you thread tampering, board wumming pathetic excuse for a Mod.
