True story: I have a pair of $5 Italian loafers. From a second-hand place, clearly never worn, size 12 extra-wide. They are never left in plain sight for fear that someone with equally misshapen feet will nick them.
the way lambert's just strolling after his pass to lallana, it's like he knew a moment of genius was about to occur! i just canny begrudge you saints fans!
4 last season and 6 the season before. Not too bad as I have friends in london so stayed with them Friday and got train down. Planning on going to West Brom at home later in the season with fellow Irish Saints fans and I'll try to fit two or three more in if possible. Get a hard time from the girlfriend because with Southampton games, Ireland away games and my local League of Ireland team Finn Harps I don't get much time to see her!
I stand corrected. Got a little carried away, that's what happens when you try to fit in two Carlings at half time.
this will sound as daft as hell but is this the same lallana that was with you in league one? i remember him being with you back then i HONESTLY didnt think it was the same one?!
Yes it is the exact same Lallana we had in League One! Always had the talent, so pleased that he's now being able to show it at the highest level for us!
well im shocked, it sounds ridiculous, but i remember hearing how him & oxlade chamberlain were tearing league one up what is with your club that produces these players? (i just looked, lallana has played more than 200 games for you! geez! ) this is why no can dislike southampton you're producing class players and over, and i couldn't be more respectful after you turned us over today, absolutely great club! and obviously bale came through you as well! I hope you guys appreciate it! ha! you all seem proper decent on this board too! hope you get a finish in europe! respect!
Ha! Definitely the same one, he's always had a touch of genius about him, and he's grown at the same pace as the club. He's one of the few English players in recent times that can take my breath away with his skill several times a game. There were a few questions over him last season and his end product, although if you can find a post of mine criticising him I'll give you my house. He's just that player that everyone wants to be when you go to play 5-aside with your mates.
Just watched the full Steve Bruce interview on The Mail website, I think he's angling for a job bless him.
I think he's just brutally honest we can all say we should have suited our tactics to manage your play but at the end of the day, southampton have these extra quality players that on the day, absolutely sparked, and the day before 3 english call ups, lallana absolutely sparked, he deserves his call up 100%
True. We've been saying on here for a while that someone was due a spanking from us, we were creating plenty, but not much was going in, we just needed something to click and get a bit of luck. Unfortunately for you guys it happened today, it probably should have been Fulham who were far, far, far worse but escaped lightly.
