This all comes from something that ex-ref Mark Halsey has said, and I'm amazed there hasn't been more made of it. If you make a WRONG decision against a small club, it gets marked down as a mistake but you aren't punished for it because the papers aren't bothered. Make a wrong decision against a BIG club, and it is all over the media, so the FA have to be seen to be doing something about it, so you have a weekend in the Championship. Understandable then, that the refs always play it safe and just give the decisions to the top teams. The whole system is wrong and corrupt.
Mariner is a feckin ****er in every game I see him ref. A liability who is allowed to go on making rick after rick because he was fast tracked through the FA system and they cannot be seen to lose faith in one of their own. He is a total twat.
So a post that was there an HOUR before you posted wan't there when you opened the thread, you are either lying and didn't actually read the posts in the thread or the slowest reader I have ever known.
Cheers MR. maybe DS put it better than me but the jist was the same SOS, just seen the next post. lets move on.
I posted an article after the Hull game about the cheating, biased Marriner. This decision of his proves the point again. Not good enough, biased and bent IMO!!!
I truly am getting worried about this mate, I can't remember any time in the past that the officials have been so biased. We all used to chant at the refs and give them stick. ffs! we used to do it when we knew they had made the right decision too. hahaha But back then I never thought he had given a decision against us because of the opposition, just that he was **** at his job.
Hahaha Shearer practically said word for word what I did. It was a terrible decision and if the referee isn't reprimanded over it there is something sadly wrong in our beloved game.
Ref's tend not to be held accountable for their mistakes, see no reason why that would change tonight mate. They're untouchable these days.
From the position of the ref and the way the player went down probably looked a penalty. Better to direct our anger and disbelief at the player, until one of ours does it.
Refs favour the rich clubs..I say this as a proven fact based on the evidence that I have witnessed over the last 10 years..
