Have signed petition, I can believe the FA can do this to the girls game and leave the boys untouched, I thought we lived in times of equal opportunites, a very bad day for sport in this country. Watford has an excellent centre with totally dedicated staff, the impact is hugh. All the girls are so sad it really hard to deal with, they just don't understand how the FA could treat them so badly, the Chairman of the FA should stop hiding behind his staff and get out from behind a desk and come down and see what he has caused.

Our problem Yorkie is finding time when H and I are around at the same time! its difficult especially when on earlies ,coz I have gone to bed before H gets here
Seems some of the girls are off for trials at Arsenal and Middx. Cant blame them really. One of the clubs is going to run its own affairs. Harrington MP on the case so we shall see if he makes a difference.
Petition now up to 2074 signatures and 188 comments but has slowed up over the past couple of days. Would be nice to reinvigorate it with some more signatures. I've a feeling the decisions makers at the FA do not like large, high profile petitions, and dislike letters and emails to them even more! http://www.petitions24.com/save_watford_fc_girls_centre_of_excellence If the centres that have lost their licences are unsuccessful in getting the policy changed, then it's possible that they may go their own way, joining together to set up an elite girls football programme and doing their utmost to continue to provide the excellent coaching, competition and support that they have done up until now. The big challenge will be finding the funding to replace that taken away by the FA.
