Dear Adam Lallana, I wanted to write to you personally to apologise for ever thinking that you weren't quite up to the pace, that you flattered to deceive with your twists and tricks. It was at the back end of last season, and the very early part of this, but that sits as no real excuse. I was utterly, incontrovertibly wrong. You're bloody brilliant. Yours wrongly, Le Tissier's Laces
Fair play to the Saints today. We could not get going and the mid field closed us down completely. Oddly we did the same to Sunderland. One thing I would point out. This was a good game of football. Not a pleasure to watch for me but I cannot find anything to complain about
Just seen Wanyama's 'error'....he may not have done well, but there was no need for Boruc to play the ball to a man surrounded by opposition players.
Tbf, several people have been saying as such. Granted that Artur maybe shouldn't have played the ball out while Wanyama had players close by, but the error was Victor letting the ball pass by him. He could have simply passed it back or got it wide immediately as he was being instructed. WHU are 1 up.
I'm saying its Wanyama's fault, Boruc told him where to pass the ball and he ignored it. It was a bad day for him in general. Davis much better when he came on.
Wanyama's fault for me. It's not as if he was completey denied of space and time to react properly, he just made a bad and poorly executed decision.
I know Victor is only 22, but you can't simply let the ball roll past you without knowing if the opposition is there to pick it up, especially a ball just outside your own bow? Still he will learn from it.

Just got back from the match. I just can't believe the difference between Lallana of last season and Lallana this season. He was sensational today. As for Hull's goal, Wanyama and Boruc are equally to blame IMO.
Not in the slightest was the goal Boruc's fault. He played a simple, safe pass to Wanyama and immediately pointed and screamed at him to play it first time to Fonte, who was in space on the right side of the penalty area. Wanyama chose to turn instead and has to take all the blame.
It's like Swansea last season. Everyone will have different opinions. Some blamed Gazzaniga for going to Maya, some blamed Maya for not looking and turning into trouble.
It wasn't a great game for Wanyama but great players have bad games. He is, or certainly will be, a great player.
I slightly fear the return of Rabbit to dine at the table of Big Vic's misery (where is he by the way? He didn't get banned or something, did he?) It was Vic's mistake ultimately, but as has been said as nauseum, he's 22. He'll learn.
