I don't know why these muppets keep defending Graham so much but are quick to slag off Mclean and Prozzy. Is he giving out free handjobs??
I was referring to the Saints' fans. IMO its a no brainer, I would start Sagbo over Graham ever time, as has been my stance since pre-season. However good players, which Graham undoubtedly is, dont just turn bad. Unfortunately we dont have the time to wait for him to regain his form.
You can't be that stupid? Just because I don't rate one of our players doesn't mean I'm going to abuse him or 'hound' him out the club, because that would have an adverse affect on the whole team. I will support him and wish him well, whilst all the while thinking 'I wish Gedo or Sagbo were on instead', it's not that difficult to understand is it? There have been times where almost everyone in our squad was ****, undeniably ****, but I would never abuse them. Let me ask you, have you tried to hound players out the club? Or are you of the opinion that we've never had a bad player? Just to use your totally nonsensical argument.
The bi-polars are out in force tonight. I'm sure Bruce will acknowledge he got it wrong today and not blame the players, who more often than not should take more responsibility. However. Southampton are where they are on merit and have a collection of players who can really play as an attacking (and defending) force. We are stripped of a couple of key players and our lack of strength in depth is plain for all to see. There is no lack of endeavour or commitment from our team, just a lack of quality which is perfectly acceptable given our status as newbies, playing catch up. We are currently outperforming 8 other sides in 'the best league in the world' and at the same time showing we are no mugs and with a manger who has the experience and nous to guide us through this tricky first season. Credit to us, credit to Bruce, credit to the squad and credit to our opponents when they play us off the park - for 45 minutes anyway. See you all for Palace.
You just don't get it do you? "Graham offers nothing." but then "I will support him and wish him well" By saying the former you can't do the latter. Ffs, what do you shout when you go to the game "Come on Danny even though you're crap" ?
Fair play to the Saints today. We could not get going and the mid field closed us down completely. Oddly we did the same to Sunderland. One thing I would point out. This was a good game of football. Not a pleasure to watch for me but I cannot find anything to complain about
Are you ******ed? or just pissed tonight? if you don't understand how you can do both maybe you should go have a lie down. Am I correct in thinking that you're implying that the only way you can support your team is by omitting any negative comments you may have of it? then I'm pretty sure we only have about 500 (happy clapping) supporters at the club.
We were beaten by the better side today, no harm in that. It doesn't make us any better or worse of a team. Just put your hands up and admit that it never clicked today. It's obvious the idiots are out tonight, so I think it's best to leave them to it.
Agreed. Some unpalatable wobbling from the FIFA Manager types on this thread. Congratulations to all those from Hull who made the effort to go today. Great support.
You really are painfully stupid, I can only assume you didn't actually read the entirety of my post, no point in repeating myself.
I do. It's called being a ****. Usually someone with a suspiciously soft spot for LFC or MUFC and used to 'quality players' who feels the need to denounce our players' shortcomings.
Well I was there and Southampton are at the top of their game, whilst we have too many injuries in key payers. Great goals today. Never a penalty, well lets say it didn't need to be a penalty.
The only person being painfully stupid would be the one who undermines his own club by rubbishing its players but thinks he still 'supports' them. Just explain again how this 'tough love' style of supporting works vis a vis boosting a player's confidence and performance?
