They tore us a new one in the first half - saints were very good though - no fluke them being where they are in the league

Disappointing but there you go. Showed some spirit 2nd half and that's what it is going to have to be like if we are to pick up points against the top teams. And that's who we played today. - A top team. Really hope they keep it up and break the so called top 4 monopoly.

I'm not questioning anyone, other than Graham.

Davies was particularly poor today but he's been immense in every other game, so it's easy to forgive him.

I have seen nothing encouraging from Graham this season. He's immobile with poor control, wayward passing and truly, truly, woeful finishing. What exactly does he offer us?

Conversely, Sagbo is quick, strong, chases everything, stretches defences and can even take a chance. Gedo offers little in terms of build up play, but he's clever, quick and strong and can get you a goal. Proschwitz & Mclean are **** but I'd order our strikers like this:
    1) Sagbo
    2) Gedo
    3) Fryatt
    4) Mclean/Proschwitz/Graham

And you can stick Aluko in at number 1 and knock them all down when he's fit (not very often).

Graham is a 'striker' who hasn't scored since January. It is now mid-November.

Bruce Snr is a very good manager who got his tactics catastrophically wrong in the first-half today.

    Bruce Jnr is a **** ****.

    RoKo is too old now.

Davies has been a rock for us so far, but he was utterly useless today.

Elmo is an asset to the side when he's going forward, but when it comes to carrying out his defensive duties he is one of the worst players in the league. He has been at fault for seven or eight goals this season, and we're not even a third of the way through the league campaign.

All I can say is, 'What the **** was Davies doing?!'

He should have clattered the ****

    We lost....we move on

We was always going to get thumped at times in the premier league and it will happen again.

Roll on Palace at home and 3 more points towards staying up ( fingers crossed )

Pretty harsh for your fans to be saying Bruce is clueless, I thought you were good in the second half and surely your league position now is better than any of you could have hoped for?
The only bad player you have, for me, is Danny Graham. He's absolute pony.

Even the Saints fan can see it, Graham offers nothing.

Credit where its due, Southampton played us off the pitch in the first 45 minutes and we never really recovered.

Good strike from Sagbo, and a fairly decent 2nd half but I'm struggling after that...

I agree Graham is pish, but played about 15 minutes. He's hardly to blame for our crap defensive display in the first half.

    Let's hound him out then.

    What do you say?

I'm not sure how anyone can come to that conclusion after seeing him play for 15 minutes considering we hardly had any of the ball in that time!

This is a football forum, if a player plays as ****e as Graham has done, fans will say so. Who said anything about hounding him out? Or are you just talking bollocks again?

Beaten by very good team and we simply had no answers in the first half. Will be good to see them break into the top places to ruffle a few feathers. Keep our heads up, move on and learn from what went wrong today. We need to take the rough with the smooth and not point fingers.

I've also seen him at every City game this season & some of his time at Sunderland.

It's on the basis of many hours of football, not 15 minutes.

Opposing fans rubbishing our players shocker.

Shame to see some 'fans' agreeing with them.

If he's '****' why do you tolerate him in our team?

    Your stance is nonsensical.

    "He's **** but he's our ****"?
