I believe we have a sucky system (technical term) to draw water from the surface, so rare to have it cancelled (unless truly torrential). They'll probably water the pitch before the game anyway
Steve Bruce in today's echo shows why we have so much faith in his abilities. He recognises the success of Southampton as a whole. Expect City to play a technical game today. I don't expect to see a goal fest, in fact I doubt if there will be any goals from open play.
Read that...he seems especially impressed by JWP, but also by Southampton as a whole. I am also impressed by Hull...I made the assumption that they would struggle based on nothing at all. Am expecting a tough game....we may need to score a few goals in this game.
According to the rainfall radar ( http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ ) there's about an hour or so of rain left. Should be fine. Vin
Just checked the Hull Board and no posts on todays game since yesterday moring. They must all be on their way down
I hope you are right... I think Hull will try to park the bus today and will be difficult to breakdown. I think we might just edge it from a set piece, but I can see this one fizzling out into a draw.
I have a gut feeling that a pitch inspection will take place and that the game wont happen. I hope that im wrong

A five man defence won't be too much of an issue, especially if that means Hull are going to drop a man out of midfield. We could run them ragged if so.
