    Mig
Johnson Toure Agger Enrique (or Sakho if not fit)
    Henderson Lucas Alberto
    Coutinho Sturridge Suarez

Wouldn't mind seeing that. Alberto looked decent when he played and deserves a start

How do we create from midfield without Gerrard?
Okay, Coutinho is a playmaker, but he's a different type. He carries the ball and links up with people higher up the field.
Imo, without Gerrard we lose the continuity between defence and advanced midfield.

Im not saying we can always do without him. But also the guy cannot play every game without sufferring burn out. Tomorrow is a good time to give him a break and get Ford back in there.

I wont be taking that bet.lol

I think basically if he is fit he starts, the best i can hope for is that we build a good lead and he doesnt have to play the whole 90 with maybe Alberto getting a chance

  6. As much as I don't like it (not just Gerrard, any captain), that is 100% the case <ok>

I am also fairly confident he will play the full ninety too. Again, I agree that he shouldn't

cissohko to come on for shako on 60mins... moses for coutinho also... would have ibe o nthe bench if sterling is to go on loan

    Rodgers team v fulham

    mingolet
    Johnson Toure Skertl Sahko Cissohko

Was also thinking I'd like to see flat back 4 with Agger at left back <ok>

Don't think that's how BR will line them up though.

    'for no reason'

Think Rodgers will have a better idea of his fitness than we do, if he isn't starting.

Is Allen fit again to play? Gerrard should be on the bench for this if he's not 100% and if that means Allen (<doh>) or Alberto (ideally) gets a start to show what he can do, then so be it.

OT, but anyone else used Alberto on FIFA 14? He's unreal.

He deserves some game time IRL too, yes. Maybe not a start... this could be the perfect game for Allen to come back in?

Apart from Cissokho don't mind that too much. Maybe he'll be better at LB than he was at LWB but so far hasn't shown anything to warrant a start ahead of Sakho even at LB.

Not sure what's wrong with Toure, not even on the bench?

Agger & Skrtel at the back again, let's hope they can click again

Toure was ****e against Arsenal, and while I feel that his performances this season warrant a first 11 position, I'm guessing that BR is trying to keep the peace with Agger. He has 4 competent CBs to fill 3 (only 2 today) roles. This means 1/2 players have to miss out. Agger lost his space due to injury and hasn't been able to claim it back since his return. Competition is tight at CB and I think if anyone has a stinker, they will get dropped.
