That's going to hurt Sky if it's true.

So the CL won't be shown on terrestrial TV anymore? That's going to cost UEFA a lot of viewers.

The story in the Torygraph says BT will make some games free to air.
Apparently they are paying £1 billion for exclusive rights
UEFA won't care about the viewers as long has they're making money

The sponsors might care though. Less people seeing the ads = less profit.

And if BT are making the games free to air, don't you still need Sky to get BT Sport in the first place?

Apparently BT will sub-let some games to ITV
I watch BT sport on my BT vision box
If you are a BT broadband customer you can watch BT sport online.

I leech my BT sport off of the neighbour's barn over the other side of the ditch - and I have to say it's much more betterer informed'd than crappy Sky

I'm just going to enjoy watching Murdoch getting butt ****ed
If BT can get the CL then SKY must be ****ting themselves over the next PL TV rights. If SKY lost the PL they would be up **** creek without a paddle

The consumer will be the one who'll pay the price, unfortunately. Sky won't lower their prices and if you think BT will carry on giving their channel for free to their broadband users, when they've just spent a billion, is quite frankly, crazy!

if you have Virgin Media you get BT Sport and ESPN included in the XL package which also includes Sky Sports. my son only has Sky in his flat so he uses one of my Virgin on the Go licences and watches it on his laptop ! so if you have friend/neighbour/family with Virgin Media ask them to give you a licence [free to use]

there is always a free stream of Sky matches, does anyone know of free streams of BT Sports that they can share with other forum members.

that not what i am saying. i said that if you have Virgin Media you also get it on other devices. so you can share it with friends/family, and you dont need the email or password to do so.
