Mate, over week ago hull fans was giving it the old southern geordies wumming routine at the whole of the board. Things have really escalated and it's beyond right and wrong, it's just pot shots from both sides. Some of your fans are really defensive which in itself is admirable but to retort with venom was often uncalled for and wrongly directed at poster who never meant harm. Would take ages to find an example from weeks ago but there's a recent example of it on the southampton, the one started by your fan, a very friendly reasonable thread where a hull fan lowered the tone on post 11. True a Saints fan had teased but he needs to learn that every board have fans that will tease away fans, he needs to learn that if he can't handle it keep to his own board.

I know we're defensive too, we're clearly both very passionate fans, but we have the right to defend our own message board. What happened on your board tonight I'm not proud of, it's sad it had to come to that. But we've had two weeks of that and it was showing no sign of relenting.

Am I proud of Smug? I'm indifferent, I don't know him from adam, I do know he's defended his own club and his own fans strongly on his own patch while a stream of Hull fans have come on and turned our board into a battle ground, He's done things his way which a lot of people wouldn't.

It's our board fella, it's not been two weeks of **** on your board. We had the banter, it got heated, why can't you move on to your next opponent. Why the hounding? Can't we be left alone?

Totally agree with this. A well thought out post. I'm pretty sure most of us are adults here and can stop the bickering?
