Do you rate him as a premier league keeper? As you may have heard, our number one got injured and is out till end of dec/january so far Harper's played in two premierleague games for us, conceding 1 goal, a penalty against spurs and kept a clean sheet against the mackems! He's doing a good job! He seems to be up at newcastle half the week though!
it's hard to tell from our point of view as the mackems were down to 9 men and apart from a shot by johnson in the second half, he wasn't tested me? always liked newcastle plus its a guaranteed 3 points for us
he'll have a big test in the next month, lot's of games, he does seem confident controlling the box though from what i've seen of him with our team
I have a big sodt spot for Hull ever since I dragged my Brid arse to Cott Rd to nip a qualification. I see you have upset some of our neighbours though. (Top marks)
Loads of experience and he'll help younger keepers waiting in the wings with his wealth of experience. If he hadn't been so well thought of in the game he wouldn't have attracted the players or the fans to his Testimonial game in the numbers they turned up in. A full house.
Great Pro, without a doubt. As a keeper, I'd say solid rather than great - he won't win you points on his own but he'll do a good job
Its a poor effort, the success you've had on the Mackems board has resulted in laziness, must try harder
Love Harps... As a Keeper he's still pretty decent. Kept himself fit and he's a wise old pro, though he is a tad short, lacking a bit of the sharpness of a peak goalie and too often remains planted. He's a perfectly able deputy, however, and will do a fair job when necessary. He's better than our current number 2, and might have pushed Krul into some slightly more inspiring performances this year.
