    Dangerous times for us Sunderland fans and things are quickly on the slide, I hope the powers that be are aware.

    A few short weeks ago the season ended with us in 10th place, the bent cash in the coffers and a busy exciting window ahead.

    I liked the early stories, we looked to be out of the traps quickly and ready to use the bosmans to bolster the squad before digging deep for those quality signnings. Larsen and Vaughn to boost midfield options, Campbell and Boothroyd to add to attack and Wetwood in goal.

    Add to these the N’zogbia type of name and some first rate strikers, exciting times ahead indeed.

    Then Henderson rumours start but that’s all they are, daft rumours, gutter press, lazy journos looking to fill pages. Now he is a Liverpool player.

    We get one day of 1 Liverpool and 3 Man U players may be coming, just may then its Gyan to Spurs with us getting Crouch. Yes I know, rumours, gutter press, lazy journos.

    My happy clap is quickly turning to just clap.

    We need a statement of intent quickly dont you think? What better way to re-assure the fans and make everyone take note than to sign someone big (Not Crouch) like Welbeck/Sturridge/N'zogbia.

    Gyan to Spurs rumours may be bullshit but they are harmful to our club and other possible targets will read them and be put off.

    Wheres Quinny to give us some hope!!

    He can't get much worse mate sounds like he's been on a downer for the last week even Osca can't cheer him up.
    He could just be missing his fetish mates mind.

    As you keep saying yourself Syd, wait until the end of the transfer window.
    I'm sure Brucie will have sprung a few nice suprises on us by then .

    SNQ may already be working on, or have completed, talks with prospective buys.
    ffs keep positive, the transfer window hasnt openend yet.

    Niall will bring a marque signing a few days prior to the season commencing to give us all a gee up ( and boost season ticket sales).

    P.S. I am not BC with inside knowledge.
