Could never understand why that kit didn't appear at Sunderland. I was watching in Harry Enfield Vision, very difficult. Worse when it's snooker. "He's attempting to go for the pink. And for those watching in black and white, the pink ball is next to the blue."

Anyway, very excited by the line-up - which invariably means we'll be taking a spanking. I worry about the 'scripted' nature of this season, and the fact we've been the victims more than once. The fact Spuds are constantly touted as playing functional, unattractive low scoring football probably means they'll bag at least 5 on Sunday. But that said I'll be interested to see how we go with...

Must be something unusual about Argentinian families - - they seem to cause more and longer lasting situations than those of other lands.

 

He wont be as much of a miss as Colo.

 

Allegedly his wife caught him on his knees in the managers office doing unspeakable things.

Seriously though it is a bit weird. I know he has become much maligned by our support but I was hoping to he'd get his level back this season and he looked ok in his fleeting appearances in pre season/early doors. Still a good option to have around and genuine all round top pro. Has gone through the ringer for the club, stuck out relegation etc, and I hope its not anything too bad for the lad.

Got to say I always liked him as a player, but last year he seemed to be in decline, wouldn't be surprised if he moved back to Argentina in January, would be a good move for all parties IMO as he has done well here and is getting on a bit now and we've had the best we can get out of him and with his personal problems will make life easier for him.

Hope so, will be low scoring, then Tottenham will get a late dodgy penalty and win.
