Even if only 0.0005% of fouls were dangerous a player who was fouled more would have a greater probability of being injured than one who was fouled less. If you can't figure that one out for yourself then I give up.
How come Messi isn't always out injured ? Is it because he isn't injury prone or because nobody fouls him ?
Players like Ronaldo and Messi get a great deal of protection from referees, so players are more reluctant to tackle them. I think it was Keith Hackett when he was head ref said they protect these players as people come to watch them.
