He paid how much? That does at least make my nine years at university seem almost worth it and not a complete waste of my youth.

The Hull supporters take everything as a direct attempt to degrade Hull .......... they're the touchiest supporters in the entire league.

    You've been warned.

I went to see a friend at uni in hull around this time last year. Actually not a bad uni and not as bad a place as I thought it would be! Had a pretty fun night out at some club called 'The Welly' too.

If you enjoyed Welly last year, you'd have loved it a few decades back. <ok> Totally anarchic. Didn't you try Spiders or Adelphi?

Pot calling kettle black, eh Smug.

Remember your reaction to us calling you lot Geordies? Despite the fact a lot of your fanbase are actually Geordies.

Also, just mention Steve Bruce doing a good job with SAFC and you lot don't stop blubbering.

Has your keeper recovered from Mcshane trying to "kill him" yet?

Many of our supporters are Geordies, myself included, so it's not an insult.

Dimwits like you try to use it as an insult through ignorance .......... but you fail <doh>

    Get a room?

Don't be infantile ........ when these Hull ****ers have finished you'll be begging for Sunderland people to come back on here.

Check out your reception, on the Sunderland board, and you'll find courtesy and decent debate.

Well, I'll be off to Solent if I fail my exams! It's one of the worst ones, but surely the teaching has to be adequate? Getting a First at Solent would be more impressive than getting one at Cambridge, yet Cambridge's Firsts will be seen as better. Same as doing well at a state school is more impressive than at a private school, even though the latter has "better" teaching.

The dimstitute is the colloquial term for the institute, which is now known as 'solent university'. It used to be a polytechnic and is looked down upon by traditional red brick universities.

There`s been plenty of times of times (most) Saints fans have questioned the chairman, but we`ve come to love him.
We were horrified at the Pardew and Adkins sackings, and the kits (wot no stripes?), Cortese has taken us further than most Saints fan could have ever imagined.
If your chairman has a good heart, business head and take you higher maybe you can forgive him?

To be honest most of the hull posters I've come across have been quite pleasant. As have most of the sunderland fans. I don't see the beef saints have no problem with either.

Getting a first at a red brick university is much, much harder. There is no national curriculum for degrees and lecturers can set whatever questions they like. And mark as harshly as they like.

Tell you what. We've taken your advice on board, and as a former manager once said, we'll draw a blue line under it, and move on. Thanks.

No it did not. It was never a Poly.

It was Southampton College of Technology Incorporating Southampton Technical College then it became just plain old Southampton College of Technology before it became Southampton Institute of Higher Education (SIHE). It then became Solent University.

Not that I'm worried as my Masters was earned at a Russell Group University.

That is enough showing off for now.
