Every single thing about Luka Modric, really. The living illustration of the phrase, "Beauty is only skin deep, but ugliness goes to the core." His proximity is rehabbing my opinion of Bale pretty damn fast.
The hype of the goalscorer as if it's all been done by him alone. There are goals and there are goals and some are more goals than others. Let's celebrate the great defensive tackle or save, or pass and so on.
Chelsea's Champions League summed up to a tee. Only won it thanks to Drogba apparently. Not like Cech had to save an extra time penalty nor did the defence/midfield contribute in any way. It's one of my top pet hates in football that.
Another pet hate of mine is Sky continually repeating the mantra that Northern fans are more passionate. Not going to name clubs but there's a few in particular that come to mind, the so called "best fans in the country". Other than Man U (that generally speaking don't have real fans) I don't see myself as being any better than any other fan regardless of who they support. What makes 3,000 West Ham fans any better than 50 Wigan fans that travel thousands of miles to watch the club they support? If Sky want to use attendances as an indicator for loyalty they should do their research.
DL, if you don't think the demographic of Chelsea fans has changed since Roman came on the scene or that the "loyalty" of some isn't doubtful. you need your head feeling. At least a nice red shirt is more versatile. Jammy Chelsea
