Thanks for the caramel latte Ak. I was in town yesterday and called in Nero's for one of their caramel latte, it was nice, but not a patch on your's!
Yet again it's Michael Oliver awarding dodgy penalties! He will not learn will he!! This is why the officials need to know when they make mistakes and need to be reprimanded for them so that they don't make them again! He needs to be taught what is a penalty and what's not!
And until that state is achieved, the FA need to introduce some measures to review & overturn such awful decisions.
Hi there Just checking in.... my mum has had cancer op and now chemo .... so I am shooting up and down the A1 and barely in Leeds.... BUT.... going to Boro tomorrow AND I have seen Watford win every game I have been to this season.. .so fingers crossed..... and ...the curse of Mlle Yorkie will not happen as she is not coming Not sure if we have to sit in allocated seats but I am in row 21 seat 253 as it stands if anyone is going and wants to say hello COYH!
I hope all goes well for your Mum Yorkie, it's not much fun but stay positive. My lady colleague at work has just found a lump Doc thinks it's an infection so fingers crossed.
Cheers Scully.... been a hard blow for her having just lost her husband... but we are doing our best to keep her going..
I could not agree more. It could only improve the performance of refs. It must be a tough job, I am certainly not quick witted enough to do it so why not a review system. Mistakes could be analysed into what the ref really got wrong and those where perhaps he was unsighted, of conned by a player etc. Refs could learn from all this and we would get correct decisions more of the time out of fairness to players and supporters.
Evening all, as Arkwright would say, it's been a funny old day. Sunshine and showers, and all the things I thought I might do didn't happen. Still there is always tomorrow before 4.00pm.. Hope that you enjoy the game demain Yorkie and your Mum is up and running again soon. About time we got things purring along again. I see that review of off the ball incidents will be happening where the ref has seen it but thought little of it. My fear is that refs will become worse rather than better with someone watching videos of where they got it wrong. I think that they are already under plenty of pressure and this could make it worse. I don't think that they have ever been, or will be perfect, which is just as well as a number of forums would have little to talk about.
evening all, hope everyone is okay Sorry to hear that Yorkie, my best wishes and good thoughts wing their way to you and your family
morning all, just about to head out...hope you all have a great day...and let's hope our Golden Boys can bring home 3 points!! COYH!!!!
Just back from watching Wellington Phoenix draw 1-1 with Perth Glory. Pretty poor quality but quite exciting when you are football starved. Not many Perth supporters. It's only a 10 hour flight if you include the stopover in Sydney. It's an expensive business following Perth away. Their nearest away game is in Adelaide, about a 30 hour drive or 4 hour flight.
Morning all from a chilly bandit country - decided to give the trip op norf a miss and get a few jobs done. Just popping over to see the pa-in-law to sort his TV aerial out and take him for some lunch - he is going through a bit of a bad patch missing the ma-in-law, so he needs a bit more company. Sorry to hear your news Yorkie and hope all goes OK with the treatment.
Cracking programme on BBC 4 for us old gits who love 70's pub rock...Dr. Feelgood, Ducks Deluxe. Hot Rod - some great stuff on there.
