About the possession, BBC calculates possession differently to just about everyone else. Which is why you'll see us at 42-43% in other places. The opposite also happens when we dominate teams and other places say our possession was say 58-60%, on BBC it's like 51% or lower... Never bothered enough to check their methodology though.
What a win. I'm not going through 18 whole pages so this is probably covered but I found that difficult to watch until we scored and then I felt eerily comfortable! The wife had words with me for my celebration after the goal but, in my defence, I was really shocked to see us in their half! Totally disagree with that knob-head Redknap saying we made Dortmund look ordinary. I thought they were excellent bar their final ball. Some of their passing and movement was top draw and, if I wasn't supporting Arsenal, a joy to watch! Still, credit to our organisation and resilience (words not recently used with Arsenal) which effectively won us the game. So proud!
In 9 years no team has beaten both Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich on their own turf in the same year.
Howdy. Was a combination of moving house, getting married and being bored of some utter bell ends on the forum that kept me away! I can't avoid talking Arsenal when we're this f*cking good though!
Wowser, congratulations. I've been with the missus 15 years if that makes you feel any better. I just like to make sure before I commit to anything! Also had to wait for a summer where there'd be no football going on for the wedding too!
The missus and I wed after 3 years I got married on the day Charlie Nicholas made his debut for Arsenal
