Morning, End of another fun filled week.... please log in to view this image How many of us are making the drip down to Charlton this weekend. How do you think we will get on at Charlton? Do we stick with the same team that beat Yeovil, or mix it up? I heard a rumour that people in Bermondsey have been advised to batten down the hatches, and only leave their properties if necessary please log in to view this image Our home record so far this season sucks!!! please log in to view this image Yesterday we heard from Chesh, that he and his wife made the long trip over to Monaco to see us play (and maybe give Bates a hiding!!) in a car that broke down on the way... We also heard from Sheldon, and his trip to Ireland!!!! Surely, we must have more stories to tell like that, where cars or public transport has broken down, on the way to a match? We want to hear it..... Indeed, assistant Manager Nigel Gibbs has told the team to up their game away from home. With the additional travelling support, you would think that the team would do better away from home? please log in to view this image
Morning Elland. Looking forward to the game tomorrow. Should be close, but I think we have the opportunity to nick it 1-0. Our support will act as 12th man.
Morning all, Strange how we have the best away following in the division by a long way, and yet one of the worst away records. It was the same last season.
I tend to agree Eire. I just hope you and I are wrong and whoever it was that said we'd win 3-0 is right. Time will tell, and the impending rain may play its part. Likely to be very wet in London tomorrow. So bring ya waterproofs!!
It's Friday and I'm feeling good and also feel like I could win some cash this weekend. So getting a lottery ticket and also putting a few quid on us getting a 12 - 0 result against Charlton. http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport/charlton/10793500._/ The link is a very good read as Powell plays a diplomatic card before the addicks match. Good comment about Hughes still being a Leeds fan and plenty more good bits.
Some mind games and an attempt to big us up before the game in order lure us into a false sense of security. That said, a decent articcle.
I broke down at the car craft in Tingley because bird I was bangings leg turned my lights on n battery went dead, car wouldn't start. AA man came to fix my car and it was my girlfriend at the times (not the bird in the car) cousin. couldn't have gone much worse tbh
BYRAM - Does anyone know what the fook is wrong with the kid now? have we put too much pressure on him last season and has that damaged his hip. The club say the hip is something Sam will have to live with and manage for the rest of his life, yet they dont seem to know what the problem is. Are the club medics crap or have we a crocked player who will be in and out of the side?
I asked that question yesterday. If he turns out to be a crock who will only be able for 15 games a year, wed better cash in come January. Judging by the state of our squad, we cannot afford the luxuries of bit part players, no matter how good they are. Didn't McD play him in the cup match v Newcastle and he couldn't play the following league game. What sort of injury management is that?
It could be something he was born with that's only now reared its ugly head. The sc&m bas&&rd who came from the Hammers had an in-built back problem that took its time to appear, & Ledley King at Spurs could only play once a week. They didn't do too badly. So let's hope that whatever Byram's problem is, both he and the clubs medics manage it as best as possible.
Playing Byram in a non priority League Cup game was very strange, played the whole 90 minutes and was rested for the more important league game which followed
Boggers I was born with a disformity but it doesnt stop me performing. You can only tell when I'm stood in the shower , like a fooking tri-pod I am
As we haven't actually met Doc, I'll avoid phukking up with some smart-arsed remark about three-legged chaps and Jake the peg with an extra "leg". Either way, the sooner Byram is back the better. By the way, who's next on the academy production line as a possible Rwb?
"Liverpool are set to allow teenage winger Raheem Sterling, 18, to leave Anfield on loan in January so he can get regular first-team football." Just pulled this off the BBC sports site. Come on boss get this kid in as he wont be on a load of moneyt and he could be the difference for our season
