True, that's a real gem of hack reporting. On a serious note though, those stories are examples of how they manipulate gullible people with either sensationalist hyperbole (the rats), or sentimental drivel (Di and Kate). These stories are transparently contrived of course, but the sinister thing is that they use similar techniques on things that actually do matter.
