Slightly concerning that he turned down our latest 'fantastic offer' as Steve Bruce put it the other week. As much as i think he's a great player i can't help but think 'Greedy bastard' Maybe we've dodged a bullet with this one.
Why would he be out till feb, surely he needs the operation, and that's 9 months so it would be august.
He's not going to be ours for much longer haha. But in all seriousness, how does a torn achilles not need an operation?
Exactly. And by the way, at the bottom of the page, there's a Lewis 29 and a Lewis 92 ! What's that all about ?
Not really. George Boyd has really stepped up to the plate recently. The problem is the reduction of options available to SB.
Err Long is a centre-forward? This is the question. How does he keep ****ing that achilles? And how does no one notice? They must have people checking for things like this constantly, with all the technology available and yet we're still getting players with recurring injuries. This has been going on for far too long.
There's tears and there's tears. I once had a partial tear of my right anterior cruciate when my marital cross decided it would be cool to stick a ski pole between my legs while we were alighting a chair lift in Val d'Isere......daft bitch! Anyway I didn't need an op and the partial healed itself.
He plays down the middle like a standard centre-forward. Doesn't drop off like Aluko he's more of a McLean type player (but better obviously) in that he chases and harries constantly from the front.
