I always come back for a pre-Christmas with the family and take in a few matches ........ I keep up the tradition of talking my 3 sons to the pantomime even though the youngest is now 26 I was due to be back for Villa away and Chelsea & Spurs at home ...... now I'll make sure I'm there for the 1/4 final. After all, clubs like ours have to take whatever we can get eh?
26? Take whatever we can get? I've seen us win the Texaco cup, Anglo Italian, and the Intertoto, so my hunger for silverware is ok for the time being.
Decent performance played out in an atmosphere and attendance that would have been disappointing for a pre-season friendly never mind to get us in the quarter finals of a major competition
I'm just as guilty mate. We all say it's a joke cup when we get knocked out ......... if we win it though!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never called it that like(well apart from in sarcastic jest like just then), been disgusted with team sheets in previous years. Been a long time since we've won anything. I'd love to win this competition and would be proud to as well.
