There seems to be definite gaps in the press tonight, past the first man there is definitely too much time for the man in possesion.
I really like the look of Reed, his distribution is so fast! He seems to control the ball and move it on in a flash which is really great, he seems a bit hesitant to press over the halfway line though, and is generally playing quite safe, but I guess that's expected for young players starting out in the first team.

Not necessarily Poyet's first team, but I'd guess in terms of minuted played in the PL this term their team would probably have about 10 times as many as ours.

 

Well it's definitely our second team, only Jay Rodriguez started vs Stoke at the weekend, and at times he's been benched for Osvaldo.

That's why I'm not expecting a win. We have a good second team but when they've been thrown together before, they never really click and put in a great performance. As it's the final 16, I'd have liked to have seen more first teamers and in earlier rounds play more Academy players.

I can't see anyone scoring tonight at this rate both teams appear toothless up front and from midfield at the moment.
We need to push up another 10m at the back to sweeze the game and get the press going properly as we are giving their keeper and defence too much time on the ball
