Not really though. It's not only about the opposition which is quite a simplistic argument. I sure would like to visit any other stadium other than ****ing ****hurst park. Also city raise their game vs tougher opposition and finally if we get a result it's much nicer to say you were there vs the arsenal win rather than the west ham win.
That's a ridiculous statement. To imply, the who the opposition are, doesn't matter is daft. Personally I'd rather see Rooney, Ozil, Hazard at the KC than Delaney, Charlie Adam etc.
I am on about games at the KC, not away. And, would you rqther see us beat Norwich than lose to Arsenal?
It's nice to see your team win, but you don't play Arsenal every week. You want to see how you compare with the best and hopefully snatch something.
No it isn't ridiculous. As a City fan I go to every game. All I am interested in is City and City winning. I am not interested in seeing the players you mention. I certainly don't want to see them play well as this could mean we lose. Feel sorry for those who can't afford to go to games but not sorry for those who can manage to get to the glamour games but not the others as that suggests that they are more interested in the other team rather than City. Has there ever been a more stomach-churning moment at City than watching those morons running on the pitch to embrace Gerrard whilst wearing a City shirt?
Of course it is. What is not right is people going to see the opposition rather than the players of their home town team.
I'm not suggesting going to watch the other players, but I'd sure as hell rather watch Gerrard than a player who isn't quite his standard.
You don't get quality like this from Macclesfield.
Not just a one hit wonder...although once would be enough if it was hard enough.
I do. But I've never seen one of the "Big 4" at the KC as I've never really had the money. To see City beat the Red Twats would be an absolute dream! But I'll attempt to make some away games, such as Swansea and West Brom and Fulham at home to make up for it .
