Why have certain people become power happy on here, and turned a good football forum into a shambles? People on here call out for new posters but why would anyone bother? You only have to disagree or say the wrong word and your banned. I mean, you describe yourselfs as a "family" and have even put up a banning thread for anyone who upsets the "family".. You sados! Get a life lads and let people have their opinion and have a crack without handing them a ban, then more people will want to join surely? No doubt I'll be called a WUM or put up for a ban for this thread. But it's the truth.

We have had some trigger-happy trouble makers (outsiders?) calling for bans to upset the members. I jokingly mentioned a ban when a Mod repeatedly accused people of having special needs . I have worked with people with physical or mental disabilities and if my family ever used them as a joke reference I would be disgusted and would speak to them. Banning is a tool which can be abused WUMS can ask for it for their sad ends but reasonable people may want it to keep the board clean and healthy.

There's banning because a mod does not like the free speech he/she is hearing (which is wrong) and there's banning when site rules a breached, which I would presume includes things like inappropriate links, Multiple account users, subject matter that has no place anywhere (rape, child abuse etc) and abuse of power (cough acs cough). Which is fair enough imo. Only problem is i've been looking for 10 minutes now and I can't for the life of me find the house rules maybe they should be easier to locate?
Get your facts right, Sunderlandsuppository. We hardly ever ban people and the latest problems were not down to SAFC mods, but outsiders. As they weren't "local", they have been dealt with. Anyway, stop ****-stirring or we'll have no option, but to point out what a twat you are.

Yes, what is ok for one board is not for another, look at the difference between this one and the mags. But then there is a huge difference between this board and GC. Each board differs, with who the mods are, this board is still fairly relaxed, but much stricter than it used to be. It changes all the time.
