Did Coentrao actually want to come to Spurs on reasonable personal terms, or was he just going to merc it once Ancelotti decreed he had no future at Madrid (the 11th hour Man Utd loan gossip etc) ??
I can see why LH was preferred v Everton, his pressing and stamina, he's still chasing with 80+ mins on the clock. I expected more from Everton tbh, think we all did, I was surprised how much we controlled it, probably not needing LH so much,Eriksen was brought on too late to exploit it though.

Sandro, Danny Rose and Zeki Fryers to miss Thursday's game. I didn't know Sandro suffered a hamstring injury during the Everton game.

Just heard AVB on SSN re Ade. In a nutshell, he may aswell have said bar Soldado or JD breaking a leg he's got no chance, there is also NO chance of using 442 in the near future....pretty damning!
Wasn't very clear on the TV, SC. Looked like the manager had just decided to remove him, IIRC. I mentioned it being a weird one at the time and someone (sorry to whoever I've forgotten) thought he must've been booked. Did he signal the bench? I must've missed that.
