Enjoy mate. Im tempted to get some money together and give it a go myself. It looks very rewarding and a good way to get involved with the game. Good luck with it.
Ta mate. Yeah, I'd been toying with the idea for a while. Moved to London and thought I'd take the plunge.
I could say 'break a leg mate', but then I'd prolly jinx it and you brake your leg literally. So... good luck on Sunday mate.
Good luck and have fun! I'm thinking of getting into American Football myself but as a player but unfortunately I'm not tall, I'm not (that) broad, I'm not fast.... but I'm fairly agile and light on my feet, dunno what (if anything) that could make me.
Bulk up a bit and play linebacker or DE (depending on fitness - linebacker has a lot more running involved).
We had some shocking referees at our Uni games last year. Please tell me your knowledge of the rules of football is solid Hope you enjoy it, and let us know how it goes. I'm sure a couple of us would love to get into it more.
Ta for all the luck. The one I'm attending is at East London Rugby Club (West Ham). I'm very keen on making a proper go of it but I'm sort of trying to figure out whether I'm able to completely commit to it. We'll see I guess.
You could apply some names to your signals to remember them. Offside, double teapot. False start, wind the bobbin up. Touchdown FG PAT, Hands up!
I just had to post this! It is no reflection on you of course mate. But after the double catch fiasco I have to laugh or I will break down.
