Admin & Musty are having a good discussion on the new forum. You've got to start somewhere...

 

That'a actually a very good comeback. The problem that has arisen is because there was no communication between the moderator and the poster concerned. I was having a chat yesterday with the gentleman moderator from the Cardiff board and he confirmed to me that the Swansea mod in question regularly disrupts his board, this is turn is inviting posters from the Cardiff board to cause disruption here, as you can see on this thread. It was this disruption that was the root of the problem and instigated KDA to say what he did.
I am a great believer that explanations and discussions are the way to behave on this forum and not closed threads and moderators acting in their own interests. I assume that you have some sort of control on this forum and I would politely request that you look at the performance of the Swansea mod in this matter please.

The trouble with this is as outsiders it is very difficult to understand all the board politics that goes on Especially with boards like the welsh ones, mackem/toon etc

If the mod wums on another board .... That board mod can ask for a ban & we would then look at the situation

 

is that your decision or the general consensus of the community re that particular situation?

Right Dexter man up and take my place as a mod or stop complaining. Swamp created a harmless thread after the game like many over here would have done if we had won.
I banned a poster for using vile language at another poster. However if you are happy for posters to be labelled peadophiles then im happy to step aside. As for clising the thread as part of some bullshit personal agenda, I closed the thread on the advice of a poster who contacted through the PM function.

 

I don't think I've ever seen a polite a poster as Dexter, slightly eccentric but very polite. He talks a lot of sense too and promotes discussion rather than conflict, I wish I could keep a calm head like he does I reckon there's a lot of us on here that could learn from him.

There's no need for you to tell him to man up Valley if you don't want to mod anymore that's up to you but I haven't seen anyone calling for you to stand down. I reckon Dexter would be good at it too so be careful what you wish for.

It's all about opinions mate, you think Swamps thread was harmless but clearly others didn't and it is the root of the problem.

Anyway Christmas is on the way

 

I am simply making an observation that's all and I do not represent anyone else but myself on here good sir. I am trying to act as a mediator so that we can draw a line over recent unpleasantness, learn from any mistakes and move forward. I think a calm head is required on this board at the moment that is all

 

Thankyou for your kind words sir. I do try and be polite and I aplologise to Valley if any of my comments have offended him. I would also like to say that if I was ever in need of anyone to defend me on this forum then my choice would be you. I have noticed how vociferous you are when it comes to defending our posters on here, I recently perused the threads and noticed this when KJ received a ban from the Cardiff board. I commend you for your passion and also for the amusing posts too, this forum would be a poorer place without you, quieter but poorer

 

How many of those who are moaning about the ban actually seen the content that was posted?

I seen it, and Valley done the right thing if you ask me. Sorry, but I don't give a toss who creates a topic, if you mention family and *****philia in the same sentence your asking for bloody trouble.

If he had called swamp a *****, I wouldn't have minded so much, he is here to defend himself, but to bring up his father, come on, are we 12 years old and still in school or something?

If you guys want to defend those sort of comments, then be my guest, but it certainly tells me more about you as a person.

I hate the Cardiff board for the fact they treat outsiders with such contempt, and you guys are doing just the same and then defending the actions of a member who did just that.

Valley you done a sterling job in that situation mate, those comments were bang out of order, and to be honest, if you ask me, defending that poster for those comments is bang out of order too.

Its like being back in bloody school on here at times.

 

Hands up I'm really not sure what went on but I agree with you swanselona - it doesn't matter which club the poster supports, if he breaches the rules then that's the end of it.

Maybe swamp and dpj should get a room. Looks like love has broken out snce DPJ has been sucking their collective dick on their board.
