Even this site in in shock that we beat the mighty swansea city, Thats 2 of the top 6 teams we have beaten now
Dunno if it's been mentioned anywhere yet but why didn't Chico go in goal for the last 5 mins ..... He's a natural .. according to BIG Sam anyway
At the start of the season if you had of said after 10 games we would be ahead of Swansea on the table I would have thought you were very optimistic. Look at it now and Swans supporters still think we are ****e and they are the darlings of modern football. The Number 1 team in Wales is back on top this week
Neutral perspective - enjoyed the game - some very good technical skills on show - on that showing the South Wales premiership derby will have more than just one season ...
Swansea play passing football in their own half. Barcelona play passing football in the opposition penalty area. Vauxhall conference v La Liga. Laudrup has too many players who have been taken in by their own hype. I don't doubt they will finish above us come May but who cares if we stay up?
Tend to agree with you Ninian. Britton and Dyer are both at the end of their careers at Swansea, and i cannot see either of them getting much more game time as they were both awful. Michu just downed tools, Chico is an absolute liability to them. But i think that both of us will remain in the EWPL together for at least 1 more season. In a nutshell they need to spend, you can only be lucky in the market once or twice.
OK, so onto this next weekend coming up. Swansea back above us is the must be the outcome. We'll do well to get a point at Villa on Saturday, and Swansea are bound to take all three at home to Stoke on Sunday. We'll have to dig in with our dour approach to get anything, whilst they'll pass Hughes' mob off the park.
This thread should be renamed the boomerang thread Spark. It just keeps coming back. Can't see us getting much from Vanilla and there is no way total hoofball can beat total football at the Liberty surely. Jax back on top.

Steady there ol timer ..................................[/QUOTE] Not so much of the ol timer please John - you'll give me a complex that will only turn me into a MOG. Now for the really serious stuff: - Can't understand why you think that wont be the case John. I reckon they'll get the vast majority of the possession yet again over other hoofball sides like they've played recently. It's a very important stat that's often unfairly overlooked and goes unrewarded. Maybe a bonus point system could be introduced on the basis that the possession should be in the opponent's half. We on the other hand have to make do with scraps and can only ever win games by luck, time wasting or even biased refereeing from a referee who doesn't like the other side.. There is simply little justice in this game. Ah well, Villa it is then. Another slog against an established Premier side like our last two.
Steady on Spark. You'll be suggesting a Champions League spot for the Premier League's team with the most possession in a season before long.
Not at all DJ - I can only call it as I see it. One should always base one's opinion upon those of others better informed to judge these things.
