Sven Goran Eriksson has said our owners acted in a "very cowardly" manner in his sacking. He isnt happy that he was allowed to run a training session after that Millwall defeat and then he was called into a meeting with Top where he was sacked. He said Vichai claimed that he had promised we would be at the top of the league after 10 games and we wasnt. He also said he was advised by a number of people not to sign Kasper Schmeichel because he was too short and short temped. Luckily he didnt listen and Sven said he liked him so he brought him Also on Jermaine Beckford he said he was really convinced he was the type of player we needed. Shane Long was our top target but once he went to West Brom they was desperate and ended up with Beckford and he accepts Beckford turned out to be a poor buy. http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/S...-City-bosses/story-20035114-detail/story.html
I have always liked Sven, he is a gent in a ruthless business, maybe his mindset is now out of date, things are not done in an above board and in the right manner any more..money tends to corrupt everything. But he was employed to do a job, until he was told different, he should of continued his duties, whether the decision to sack him was taken straight after the millwall game is pure speculation on his behalf.
I didn't mind him as a person tbh, but we had a whole load of inconsistent results that we struggled to get over until last year, i think we would be getting FFP fines if he was still here.
Really fossefilberto ?............... I have it on good authority Sven is hung like a deformed donkey with girth... combined with Sven's sweet talk. what female could resist that ? #lockupyourdaughters women just limp away..
