I believe what I saw - he publicly admonished him & then dropped him - both fackhts..... What he said to his players behind closed doors, we'll never truly know, but I doubt it was any different to most others - "feel a touch & go down"......the caveat to that being - don't make it ****ing obvious The linking of Young's dive last night & Ferguson by kopites, just reeks of the bitterness that you have towards your nemesis
Ferguson only rested Young because he was **** and overexposed. He never complained about his diving and defended every penalty won as being legitimate. If he wants to rewrite history in his book then you're a moron for thinking he would ever tell the truth. Lying is like breathing for him. Despite all the dives Ferguson still started Young in the last game of the season 11/12 when he needed a win for the title if City dropped points. That shows how much he cares about diving versus winning.
So lets say for arguments sake Liverpool were in with a chance to win the league on the last game of the season and Suarez or Gerrard dived the game before, would you expect Rodgers to drop them ?? Didn't think so.
Seriously posted by a kopite, that's ****ing hilarious please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Since when have you had the right to criticise a manager (or supporters for that matter) for not castigating a cheating player??? Which is ironic, as in the case being discussed the manager in question actually did drop him, but you're attempting to occupy some ridiculous high ground, because the self imposed ban wasn't supposedly long enough? errrmm - #kopitelogic p.s. your point also inadvertently blew the theory out the water, that he was dropped for being '****e' rather than for the diving - as he brought him back for their most important game of the season, which is contradicted by your first sentence
Suarez and Gerrard are actually good footballers. Young was in the team for his potential to win a decision from Howard Webb, and that is all. Ferguson encouraged diving and rotated divers only to maximise their decision winning potential.
Only one person on here did that as far as I can see - and the fact that the op was put up as a mickey take anyway makes the heated comments that more laughable.
