Saw that. Pathetic. Minuscule contact, goes down in a heap. He is an embarrassment, I hope He gets his comeuppance.
What made me laugh was even the homerific commentators were bemused it was given and were questioning young as much as they could do. We need the commentators to really go for it, call him embarrassing and a cheat, it might stop then. The bloke who interviews Moyes should point out hes a serial cheater and he said he was going to stop it, so why is he still cheating?
Apologies, just discovered I am watching the match on +1, you were all already aware of this. I must get that brain scan soon. Where did I leave my car keys again?
According to Strachen it was a penalty. Every penalty so far in the CL has been a dive, especially the Juve one.
Young will always be a cheat, he regularly sticks out his leg to foul the defender and gets a penalty for it someone should shoot him
My initial reaction was that Young was getting yellow carded for a pretty obvious dive - really glad RVP missed the penalty - cheats should never prosper. Always hated the way Shaun Derry was cheated (red card + resulting penalty scored) in that game at Old Trafford.
You can tell he looks for it by the unnatural body movement when he goes past and then down. Tom Daley eat your heart out...
Regardless on whether this player is talented or not, history will only remember him as a cheat ................ ( The perfect payback)
But Derry walked off with so much class and head held high. He had the satisfaction of knowing that everyone knew he had been cheated. Class act.
Dreadful style this player has as his leaves a leg or an arm out purposely as soon as he gets into the box ... He doesn't do it as much outside I would like to see him banned
Nothing was shown about him which shows you how scared the media are of Man U. Ive not doubt hed have said it was a penalty but be fuming if it was given the other way. Edit, found this Moyes; " But Moyes said: "The boy certainly tugs him in the box. "All I know is he got a penalty kick from a decision. I don't know anything about reputations or anything. "If you look, the referee is two yards away from it and decided to give it."
Moyes back tracking, i've seen it & young just collapsed in heap like normal, the blokes a jerk & if they were my team i wouldn't like to see that happen.
Heres another cracker from Moyes, hes stepped in AF boots perfectly! "I do think Adnan is going to need a little bit of protection or we are going to find that he is getting kicked up and down. It is not a case of asking for protection. "We are just saying that somewhere along the line, if he is going to keep playing in the fashion and style we want, he is going to have to get some protection from it."
Football could do with some character. I'd love it if moyes had have come out with, "no, never a penalty, young went down far too easily, and I'm dropping him until he learns his lesson" or similar. He'd earn massive respect from everyone. Similarly, pelegrini was asked after the man city game last night if he'd rather have won 3-0 or 5-2. He didn't really answer the question, but I thought to myself, go on, say something definitive like, "5-2 every time for me, it shows we're strong up top and gives us something to focus on defensively", or something definitive in favour of the 3-0 option. It's boring and overly modded. Football needs to release its bollocks and let them swing.
