So can City capitalise on that cracking Derby day win over an apparently stronger Swansea side? They'll be confident for sure, I'm still buzzing after Sunday! There will be no doubt about how Mackay will set up his team but will it be a backs to the wall type of game or will City set out to dominate possession? No prizes for guessing where Villa's goal threat will come from- Caulks and Turner will have to be on top form to prevent Benteke!
1 - 0 to City. Bellers to make history by being the first player to score for 7 different Prem clubs.
I think we're finding our feet, at last. We can take all three I reckon. 1-2. Much and PO (if he can time his runs a bit better)
Yep, have to agree about Odem. Obvious quality and decent pace, but not on the money yet for quick thinking movement. Fraizer will throw a lot more into it physically than Odem and can cause defenders problems when he turns them and gets them on the run. It's Odem for me for the more controlled approach to the target - Fraizer for the smash and grab. Either way, we can do the job at Villa as long as Marshy, the back four and Medel play as they have been - we have enough options to win the game from the other five out there, whoever Malky decides to play. Of course it also helps when you've got Caulks up there as well for the set pieces...
Indeed. Always fancy caulker for a header and was tempted to have him involved this time... But I'll save him for the winner against Man. U., something I think genuinely possible. Imagine, the double over the red and blue... Which would be ironic, don't you think.
