We have nearly half the amount of points we accumulated in the whole of last season. Testament to Pearson and the players for putting the disappointment of last season behind them and coming out fighting this year.

On another note I was so happy Knockaert scored on Saturday, and he showed how much it meant to him! Excellent game, excellent team performance. I've never seen Leicester celebrate a win like they did on Saturday! They were truly up for it!

    Chant of the day

"Deeney dropped the soap. Deeney, Deeney dropped the soap" had me and the gf chuckling.

Got to bear in mind this time last year, we would have been 3 points clear at the top, the league is going to be more stretched out this year and its going to take more than 79 points for 2nd place imo.

I completely agree, Watford aren't the same team. Brighton are riddled with injuries,if you look at the teams that got promoted from L1 and those that went down it could be argued that Wolves and P'boro are better than Yeovil and Bournemouth. Add to this that QPR SHOULDwin on a more consistent basis than Hull/Watford/top 6 did last year and that all adds up to make the league a lot more stretched, especially at this stage of the season. I think Brighton could be contenders for play offs, they have a ridiculous number of players out which are all due back around Xmas time. If they're only 6-10 points away in Jan i wouldn't be surprised to see them make a late dash.

I'm not ruling out Reading either, they have a good manager, a good team, decent funds to strengthen and have a habit of making surges in the latter half of the season. Us, on the other hand...
