    Not true.

Poyet has managed to keep you wound up for all that time, I would say he was very successful at that. <ok>

We have one derby game just like yourselves. Portsmouth is our only derby.

Do you consider that one too? I thought you had a pretty similar situation to us and Bournemouth with that. I.E Bournemouth fans desperately try and make it a rivalry, but it really isn't.

Fair enough, that's the end of that then.

So, are you coming up for the match?

There's a bitter rivalry with Boro and substantially more trouble over the years than with Newcastle.

To be fair to Boro they've been more successful than us, over the recent past, so that didn't go down well.

Must have been the same with you and Portsmouth when they were doing well and winning stuff.

I wouldn't class Leeds as a derby but it was always great fun for all the wrong reasons. <devil>

Haway Mackemo fella, there's only one derby man. A derby needs you to give a **** to be a proper derby.

To be fair Portsmouth's recent history is better than ours, but almost all Saints fans take great pride in Pompey's demise after the way they reacted to our administration/relegation issues.

TBH, we all pretend Boro are nowt but there's always a derby feel to the matches and traditionally more serious violence than Newcastle.

There's 65 mile between Southampton and Brighton but only 30 between us and Boro.

    That's officially twice the derby!
