By the time they're back, we will get new injuries, everytime we had someone return, someone else just fell out, we've never had the whole squad together injury free at one point this season, one comes in, one goes out, or in the case of Arsenal, one comes in, and two-three go out injured.
And as predicted, injuries hit us, Wilshere a doubt for Wednesday, and Gibbs with a calf injury, expect him to be out for 2-3 weeks....As I said, when others come in, others go out. It's like a game.
Podolski and Flamini due back at the week-end according to Physioroom; Gnabry too. Walcott now showing up as the 23rd November.
So no new players available for the Dortmund game but Podolski and Flamini back in the squad for Utd? Any news on oxocube? I think at the moment we are just about ok on numbers but we are lacking pacey wide players.
Podolski is not back until the end of November, TT has bad information. Wilshere and Flamini will be back, with Gnabry
Everyone should just get injury info from Arsenal, not this website physio room which is often incorrect. They bloody said OXO and Podolski would be back mid-October. Podolski ain't back until the end of November according to Wenger, with OXO in December.
Podolski might be ahead of schedule, the last update on the official page is October 18th which was a long time ago. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...rsenal-training-hand-Arsene-Wenger-boost.html He is back in training anyway, well, he was back in training a week ago.
A few articles i have been reading have mentioned Walcott could be back in action for the Utd game - any confirmation from anyone on his current injury status? If he is back even as a sub for the Utd game it'll be a big lift. We will get the best out of Ozil when we have some more pace going forwards.
Walcott won't be back for the United game. He is going to return for the Southampton game according to Wenger.
Good to hear he is back soon either way. And nice to see Podolski back in training. The sooner we have extra options the better. Parituclarly our wide players.
That's fantastic news. It might mean we see Flamini and Arteta link-up in midfield with Ramsey/Ozil/Cazorla all rotating in front of them.
Yeah Rosicky has played a lot of games in a row. He is playing well but if Flamini is back, Ramsey is too good at the moment not to have in the team and has done well playing wide as well as centrally, particularly as all 3 of Cazorla, Ozil and Ramsey seem comfortable playing anywhere across those 3 positions. Getting a few players back from injury will add a lot of strength to this team that is already doing so well.
Wilshere is out for Tuesday with another test on Thursday, doubt we will see him until after the international break.
Wilshere just needs to be rested until he's properly fit. When Flamini, Walcott, Podolski and Oxo are back it will give him a bit more of a chance to recuperate. I worry that he's going to end up being one of those players who is always niggled by injuries if we don't take care of him.
In this case it seems to have been an unlucky one, turned his ankle badly, that happens sometimes, but with the international break coming up, good chance for him to recover and rest.
Good thing for us is that the teams for most of our big players have either qualified or been eliminated from WC. Hopefully Giroud escapes unscathed.
