And has to be said that certain Dutchmen was very clicncal when we faced Dortmund in that season, and that's difference for me between a forward like that and Giroud. When that one big chance comes, I am not entirely confident that Giroud is going to take it.
if we can score first, we'll silence the home crowd. It will be a very very difficult match. A win would set us up nicely for our visit to Old Trafford.
I'd be very happy with a draw to be honest. First and foremost we need to make sure we don't lose this game as Napoli look likely to pick up points against Marseille who have been ****e. We're still in a decent position to qualify but the margins for error are very costly.

Ok so with the players we have available and who seem to have travelled it looks like our team for this will be: -------------Sczc----------- Sagna----Mert---Kosc----Gibbs ------Arteta----Ramsey---- Rosicky-------Ozil-------Cazorla ------------Giroud---------- Bench: Flappy, Jenkinson, Monreal, Verm, Hayden, Gnabry, Akpom/Bendtner The first 11 is strong enough that i think it will be a good game but that bench lacks anyone who can change things up going forward. If we can get a lead then we have defensive options like putting Monreal infront of gibbs or Jenkinson infrton of sagna, or verm on to make it 3 at the back etc... But if we are losing we don't have many options to make a difference from the bench. The sooner some of our wide players return from injury the better!
Can feel the excitement building that always does on a CL night. Love watching our european football and i appreciate that we get to watch our team in thsi competition when not many others do! I think it's gonna be a good game, a lot of attacking talent on show so there will be some great moments i'm sure.

Silly question perhaps, and may have been answered by somebody elsewhere - but why are we still top of the group? Dortmund have a better goal difference than us and they have beaten us....?
