Afternoon all. One for me today GAS LINE BOY 3.50 EXETER 9/2. A really good third on his chasing debut considering he made several mistakes. Hoping to see some improvement in the jumping department but traveled like a class horse last time out. 9/2 is fair.

Good old Somersby, he just held on to win the big race at Exeter.

What on earth happened to Williams Wishes there? Hit the front way earlier than usual travelling well and then just dropped out. Weird

Layed Cue Card too so still made a profit. Was a ridiculous ask for him giving all that weight away at odds on earlier

    Nice shout on Somersby Stick.

I just hope it was tiredness rather than another injury. Good on ya if you backed Somersby, Stick - had too many off days for my dosh!

Not massively, considering the weight he was giving away to some decent animals. He made his customary mistake early in the race, and he still has that odd head carriage, but that performance off 172 was arguably just as good as last season's debut.

I would say it was a good run from Cue Card personally. Conceding 17lbs to Somersby is an absolute ridiculous ask to be honest 20lbs to Module as well. Bad error early on from Cue Card didn't help but he battled gamely to the line and wasn't beaten far. Off levels he would have smashed it

Yes, Uncle, I did have a quick look at Storm Alert who has good form lines in the context of this race. However, it is returning after a 231-day break, and am usually unlucky with so-called 'fresh' horses. Good luck with your selection, has a good chance if fully-fit.

So was that supposed to be a good jumps race?

4 months of that pish until the only decent racing bar the King George, at least there will be some decent novices to back in Ireland, that english stuff is woeful.

7 winners on Breeders Cup night will need to keep me warm until may

RV strikes again - very impressive.

Haldon Gold Cup was a muddling race - William's Wishes blew up when he hit the front, Cue Card was stopped by the weight and Somersby and Module probably ran to around their marks.
