We gave it away in 1959-60 and 1961-2!.....and if you look at 1966-7,we missed out on a double by the meerest of margins!
Fantastic footage, thanks JPG! I come from a place with different games and different traditions, but there's something so beautiful and touching about old images of people and sports. They're filled with childhood memories. I'm also shocked by the quality. You never get to see that world as it really looked at the time.
Lovely coincidence that they had Terry Dyson fixing a hoover! Interesting piece of footage. Shame it's not longer and doesn't feature more of the game, but it's still a useful glimpse of the past.
