http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/premier-league-news/35180-norwich-line-up-pearson.php ... had to laugh at this tbf .
Sportsdirect well know for accuracy in their sports reports http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/pre...nsfers-leicester-plot-ba-bid.php#.UneAuXB8IxE
Its a well constructed article... It wouldn't surprise me if people were interested in him, although i would think 'arry would be the man most prem teams would want, unless they are on a budget. Can't see Pearson walking seeming the owners stuck with him at the end of last season, he came back to finish the job, and thats (hopefully) what he'll do.
Were doing well and alot of contracts are running down. I would be more surprised if people like Pearson, Schmeichel, Morgan, Nugent and Dyer wasnt being linked with other clubs
Would Norwich want a manager of a high risk army? More chance of them signing a contract with Pukka pies.
I wouldn't rule it out lads, he's got a history of jumping ship in the middle of a 'project'... I can't see it. If Nigel Pearson can be described as anything, it's most certainly not stupid. He could be a League below Leicester next Season if he left for that load of ****e. I can't see him swapping automatic promotion for a relegation dogfight. Unless of course... £££
No offense meant to you guys or Pearson but I wouldn't understand a prem club coming in for him. He hasn't had that much success previously in his career (at this level) and he has had a fair amount of money at you guys and still hasn't gotten you promoted, not saying he won't but not only is he untested at prem level but he is also not exactly overachieving at the level below
2 full seasons here, both reached the play offs Did a major rebuilding job here and Hull and now look at both clubs Hull are prem and we are going along very nicely
yea but he hasn't actually achieved anything himself, I'm not saying he won't incidentally but he can't be said to be responsible for Hull's success, that was definitely bruce because before he went there they were probably looking at mid table. He has had a lot of money at you guys and not really produced to match that
Ian Holloway's record is better, so is Billy Davies' (and look at what just happened to Holloway) - Josh has a point - if Norwich get rid of Hughton they will want someoe who has managed successfully at the top level (either here or abroad) to 'save' their season... which is good news for us, given the way the season is progressing ..
I´d be ****ed off he he went now/in the near future. & WHY are we ****ing about ref contracts ? It´s about time we got things sorted before we start next season with 22 new players... not that that´s going to happen BUT you get my point.
He did a very good job considering he had nothing to work with (financially anyway). He got rid of the clutter and brought in some key players such as Chester, Koren, Rosenior etc. Our strong defence is much to his doing really.
If your club is in financial turmoil and want to turn it around so that you are living within your means (with FFP incoming, this will be most clubs), Pearson is your man, no matter what division your in. He removes the wasters and gets players just as good on much more reasonable wages, but with contracts as they are, it will take time to clear them, we still have a few Sven wages on the books. If your club want to spend in January to get you out of a relegation battle this season, choose someone else, i would say Redknapp but he will blow all your money and get you relegated anyway.
