I was dreading looking at the official site all day today waiting for the news.

Totally gutted for Ale, a real fans favourite, and he clearly cares for the club. Things keep on knocking him back don't they - the whole contract/points saga, and two ACL injuries.

I really hope the club do offer him a new contract based on the provision he does play football again. He deserves it. For me he was the MOTM at the weekend - and I had already thought that before his injury.

    Absolutely gutted

He was sent out and when he finally got back he had many doubters who told him he had to prove himself.

Certainy grabbed that chance and was getting back to his best....I wonder if we'll ever see him in Hoops again ?

Really gotta feel for Ale. He's been there before and knows what it takes to come back.

Over here in Oz, there are two brothers that play rugby league for my team the Dragons .............. anyway, cut a long story short, one of them has had two Anterior Cruciate ligament rebuilds and the other, three!
The point I'm trying to make is that certain people ( because of there body dynamics, seem more susceptible to certain injuries than others.)

I know I've had a couple of knee rebuilds and I'm thinking that some bodies hold up better than others................ anyway, I'm no doctor but just my two bobs worth.
    Stay strong AF.

I am gutted for the man. Thinking positive, he is still young enough to come back from this and still have a successful career, I truly hope so.

The only positive for me is that its the other one, I wouldnt hold out much hope if it was the same one again.
