Blimey Gary Kubiak collapsing at the end of the first half! He was taken to hospitL as a precaution but it's been said that he did not suffer a heart attack and remained conscious and responsive throughout. He could be released in the next few days if they find out what caused him to collapse. It must have affected the Texans and I wouldn't bet against it being the big reason behind the defeat, it must mess with a players head!

I am quickly going off Channel 4's coverage of NFL, first they move the 4th quarter of the 49ers/Jags from C4 to More 4 so it fails to record and now their pundits are making jokes just minutes after a coach has collapsed! That was sick!!!

My last day of work is Wednesday, which sucks royally, but at least I'll be able to watch the Vikings for the first time since Wembley!

So who is going to join me in watching MNF? Its bound to be a decent scrap. This rivalry is always a bit feisty and usually produces a good match.

I'll be up for a bit. I'm dangerously sleep deprived after an early start this morning (and obviously only getting to bed at gone 5) so I won't be up for it all.

Yeah, I watched most of that, but recorded it so watched the rest this afternoon to save myself for tonight. It was a very good match last night. I thought the Texans might have it, but Luck wasn't having any of it!

That's what he's like. His fourth quarter comeback/game winning drive stats are unreal. He's comfortably the record holder for most GWDs through a player's first two seasons - that's with half a season left - on ten. The record for GWDs in first three seasons is 13 - so Luck has a year and a half to get four more game winning drives. Yeah I fancy it.

I think its pretty much nailed on he will break that record. But I wonder what affect losing coach Kubiac in that manner had on the Texans.

Sources within the Taxans camp have told ESPN that Head Coach Gary Kubiac suffered a stroke when he collapsed last night, but he is awake, responsive and in good spirits

Having gone down hard on his non-throwing shoulder and gone into the dressing room for assesment Aaron Rogers is rated questionable for return to this match. The backup Wallace is in and is having mixed fortunes.

****!!!!!!!!! Rogers is out for the game with what the packers are calling a left shoulder injury. However given the length of time he has been in the locker room and where they are working it would appear to be a collar bone problem.

Well there goes this game then. We might as well go to bed now! We ain't winning this.

Turns out I fell asleep before the game last night. No surprise with how tired I was, but then, Josh McCown v Seneca Wallace doesn't sound too thrilling.

Josh McCown did his job and showed what a backup QB can do. Unfortunately because Aaron Rogers is such a good player Wallace just hasnt had any game time and it showed. He was almost reliant on the run game as he wasnt very familiar with the pass routes. He seemed unwilling to try anything longer than a 5/6 yrd pass to begin with and the Bears were able to force 3 and out too often.

Im hoping Rogers wont be out for too long or we could be saying good bye to our chances.

Just looking at the box score, seems like relying on the run game went alright with Eddie Lacy going for almost 7 yards a carry. Everyone's saying McCown seems to be gaining a lot from Trestman which isn't a surprise.

So the new out of Green Bay is that Aaron Rogers suffered a fractured clavicle and there is no set time frame for his return and they will play it week by week. But as Mike McCarthy said if Rogers came to you tomorrow and asked for the ball would you say no? We all know his resilience and ability to play through the pain. But the main focus this week is getting the offence up to speed with Wallace as the starter.

Broken collarbone recovery period usually is 6 weeks to 12 weeks, if he needs surgery, could take a year. This is for normal people of course, this is the NFL, they'll send someone out on the pitch even though his knee has been shredded a dozen times.

Yeah, but his isnt broken, its fractured. It clearly wasnt broken as Rogers was moving his arm freely, but with a lot of pain. McCarthy has said its not as bad as it could have been, so hopefully its only 2/3 games and he can come back. Any more that that could derail our season if Wallace doesnt pick up the third downs. But a week is a long time in the NFL and we will see.

Hopefully Rodgers isn't out for too long, my fantasy team is doing bad enough already. :(

NFL.com reporting that Cutler is expected to start on Sunday for the Bears. Might be a bit soon for a tear in the groin, those usually take at least 3 or 4 weeks to fully recover and to regain lost strength takes another week or two. I've had a couple groin tears in the past, usually took me out of any game for at least a month.
