    I did this over FB on the last day of the season at half time... I sort of feel responsible for jinxing the slip-up that befell us, and still feel a bit of a tit even now for not waiting. Even said to my mate when we were watching the game, this will probably backfire :'(

    tbh not even remotely interested in them will be looking at the top 6 and hoping we can get close to them next season.....time to change our mentality i think and look at the big picture not the goldfish bowl of the north east,not bothered about being north east top dog more interested in being the premier leagues top dog (not going to happen next season but over the next few seasons i don't see why not,not deluded just like to think that is where the clubs ambition lies as we are a big club ...fanbase/stadium etc.etc.)

    wasn't it supermac who famously said when he played for us both us and the mackems need to change our mentality or we'll win **** all just being happy with top dogs of the region,well he's got a point he last played for us in 1976 and neither of the regions teams have done **** all since

    When you look at the teams that finished above us and the mackems Aston Villa/Fulham/Everton do i need to say any more and we're quite capable of finishing above them and pushing the likes of the dippers and spuds as well and i mean both of us but when both teams sell their crown jewels so to speak what chance do we have?
    Is their owner and chairman any better than ours Quinn "it was a deal to good to turn down" **** off......Ashley yeah you can go when it should of been "sorry andy you signed a new contract you'll stay and honour it and we'll prove to you we're going places" both teams proving that the youth system is just a cash cow and the one team benefiting from OURS and THEIRS academy is the dippers who'll ride into Europe with other teams talent.

    It's a very sorry state of affairs at the moment and it definately needs sorting out for the sake of the region.

    I don't know wot all the fuss is about the Henderson transfer !!
    if you break it down
    4 million for Jordan Henderson
    Liverpool pay Sunderland 16 million to take Ngog of their hands
    Total 20 million.

    Ngog makes heskey look a world beater

    When you say us Geordies, you should remember that there are lots of Skunk supporters who are not Geordies, and lots of Sunderland fans who are Geordies: so in future, please refer to yourselves as Skunks so we all know who you really mean...<ok>
