Poor bugger. Very unfortunate for the lad.

Hopefully he'll recover fully and be raring to go for next season.

I received back an email earlier today from Ian Taylor. He says that the club will be putting up a way we can send best wishes message to Ale on the official website tomorrow. Depending on what form that takes we can either use that, or, if we prefer, create a thread on here and Ian will forward it to Ale.

I suggest we wait and see what the club come up with tomorrow before deciding.

What can you say? To have such an injury once is rank bad luck but a second time and on the other knee is so unfair, and such a nice guy as well. Here's hoping you return next season and all the best Ale...

Along with everyone else here, really gutted for Ale. He looked like he would be set for a really excellent pairing with JB and was back to playing his best. He really doesn't deserve such bad luck!
Hope we do see him back at his best again. Good to read somewhere that TF has said the club will look after him (he is one of our own). All the best Ale!
