Surely Bendtner became a big part of the drinking/gambling culture whilst here on loan. We don't need him back.
Absoloute yes from me better than altidore, ji, and wickham. Altough fletcher scores goals Bendtner is certainly more technically gifted.
Liked him when he was here and think he's under rated but I don't think theres any substance to those story. Think he'll end up abroad as I can't see which prem team he'd go too.
I agree about him being better than what we have. But anyone else see how heavy he looked for Arsenal? He is 25 yet looks 5 years older.
I don't think he's anywhere as good as Fletch. Nick drifts out of position too much. Fletch reads the game so much better and puts himself in much better positions for me.
Ok then what about Altidore, you can't just pick and choose to match him up against a single player, when the debate is him against the forward line in general... That being Fletcher, Altidore, Borini, and sadly the only other useless twat we have is Ji.
Match them up? Nah mate, I'm of the opinion we should play one man up front so I don't think the question applies to me. I wouldn't dream of playing 442 in the premiership personally. Plus me comment was in reply to MR saying "I agree about him being better than what we have."
Ah, me see. Like I've just I'd be playing one upfront with a 5 man midfield that can switch to to a 433 with likes of Giacc and Johnson making up the front 3. I'd start putting in place that passing philosophy now. Ki and Colback can keep and pass the ball and Catts can protect the defence. If we go down I'd rather we go down in style and not the whimper we're displaying now. Not been a fan of the 442 for years now. It compete in the midfield. That's just me though.
4=4=2 can work for us very nicely if we have good engines in the midfield. To me that would mean Giac over Larsson.
It could but it's not for me. Not going to get on poyets back about it like but his shape can't handle playing a 5 man midfield. Swansea's 5 man midfield tore us to shreds, The Nags 433 switched back to a 451 effortlessly and had the better of our midfield for long spells and the opening 45 minutes of the Hull game their 5 man midfield tore us a new arsehole. We're losing the Midfield battle every single game. Modern football is won and lost in the midfield. Infact, The only time we've deployed the 451/433 that I would play was Bally's two matches against pool and Man U, arguably our best performances of the Season so far.
